Jassi Genuine Australian ugg boots
When Judy Wood started crafting genuine sheepskin Ugg boots in 1978 under the JASSI brand she had a very clear goal in mind: creating a circular economy using sheepkin offcuts from local farmers to handcraft warm, long-lasting sheepskin Ugg boots.
It didn't take long for the JASSI Ugg boots to earn a reputation in the local community of Denmark in Western Australia for their amazing quality.
A few years have passed since then but our mission remains the same: We are still a family business that loves crafting quality real Australian UGG boots by hand, with genuine sheepskin and sustainability in mind to keep you warm for generations.
How are authentic ugg boots made?
The ugg boot making process
At Jassi all of our ugg boots are handmade following the original boot making process that we have perfected over 40 years of craft. We start the ugg boot by selecting the best quality australian sheepskin and then we cut each ugg boot section individually to make sure that every piece of the ugg is perfect.
Then, we stitch and bind the ugg boot together by hand, which gives us full control over the process and a guaranteed long-lasting quality boot.
Jassi is commited to make australian ugg boots as sustainable as we can so we use our sheepskin offcuts to create other leather accesories like sheepskin dog beds and handmade wool toys.
